New Jersey Loan Expansion and Network Development (NJ LEND) is a 3-year pilot program designed to expand NJEDA’s lending capacity to further support the growth and stability of New Jersey-based businesses. Eligible businesses can access up to $5 million in financing to purchase or refinance owner-occupied commercial real estate, acquire equipment, or secure working capital.

Garden State Commercial Property Assessed Clean Energy (C-PACE) Program

The Garden State Commercial Property Assessed Clean Energy (C-PACE) Program is a voluntary financing tool which allows qualifying commercial real property owners to access financing to undertake qualifying energy efficiency, renewable energy, water conservation, and resiliency improvements on their buildings and repay the investment through an additional charge/assessment similar to their real property tax bill.

Main Street Acquisition Support Grant

The Main Street Acquisition Support Grant product is a pilot product under the Main Street Recovery Fund that will offer a grant of up to $50,000 to reimburse an eligible NJ small business for closing costs related to a New Jersey commercial property that the business purchased to operate from.

New Jersey Film Commission Announces 21 New Film Ready Communities

The New Jersey Motion Picture and Television Commission (NJMPTVC), part of the New Jersey Economic Development Authority (NJEDA), announced that 19 municipalities and two counties have been designated as Film Ready Communities following completion of the Film Ready New Jersey Program. The Program prepares communities to accommodate movie and television producers and effectively market themselves as film destinations, bolstering the state’s standing as a national leader in film and television production.
