EDA HEARS BOND PROPOSAL FROM NONPROFIT

An affiliate of the Drenk Behavioral Health Center is moving closer to getting more favorable financing for its buildings in South Jersey.
Erin Gold, a spokeswoman for the N.J. Economic Development Authority, said a public hearing was held Tuesday morning in Trenton on the application from Landmark Property Management.
The nonprofit Landmark owns 20 properties in New Jersey, most of which house people with mental illness. Most of Landmark’s leases are with the Drenk Center, a nonprofit social service agency that was founded in 1954 and is headquartered in Hainesport.
